Pilot Light

Where is pepped up Jess? Danny and I just tried to jog around the lake but I only made it half way. I have the energy of a sloth. It's exhausting to lift each finger to hit the keys. I have over 40 emails that I haven't responded to (sorry friends). I'm overwhelmed. I hate when things get overwhelming. I wish I could just sleep it all away. I feel like I'm losing the fight, and I know that all it starts deep within me. If my pilot light's out, I'm in trouble.

  1. We can't and don't expect you (or me or anybody out there in the world) to be on 100% of the time. Rest up and you'll get your pep back soon!!! <3

  3. Hey Jess. I think in order for us to be strong, we have to be weak sometimes. We have to get empty to get full again, have to forget in order to remember...and so on. You can help your "pilot light" get lit back up by listening to and caring for your body. The fact that you even leave the house and pound the pavement is astounding to me, and as long as you give yourself little challenges, that means the spark is still lit. I might be wrong, but I don't think you've given up. Not by a long shot.

  4. Jess, I believe all of the other comments are true. I think of you as being out in the middle of the ocean on a sailboat going from one continent to another. Your boat can only go as fast as the wind that fills its sails; you can't just turn on the engine and motor there because it's far and you could run out of diesel! So you follow the/a routine that helps you get to that continent and remember you're tenacious even though you're not feeling so, and it's a big storm at sea you are fighting. I know you can win. I know you can. xo Susea
