I Humbly Thank You

Thank you for all of the prayers, all of the positive thoughts, and all of the love. I am the luckiest girl in the world! I'm trying to get used to the thought of freedom for the next 90 days. What a great gift!

I slept for nine hours last night, and for the first time in months and months, I didn't wake up once throughout the night.

Finally, I can rest assured that the pain, heat and odd tingling is all part of the healing process. Yesterday, during the neuro-testing, I accidentally started crying, I was so relieved from the clean MRI.

I'm incredibly grateful for every moment of good health. To my friends and family - and the anonymous friends that I've never met, thank you for rooting for me! I want to do everything I can to be healthy and happy, and so far it's working. Thank you for all of the support and kindness, I couldn't be as successful without it.

I humbly thank you. Truly.

  1. You are so very, very welcome. Your success gives us hope.

  2. Thank you for allowing those of us that you have never even met to be a part of Team Jess!
It is a privelege for me to cheer on such a remarkable person as you!!!

  3. Even us anonymous love you!

  4. Hey Jess, Steve Maher here. I just wanted to say how happy I was to read about your visit to the docs this week. You are an inspiration (even to a hard-boiled journalist like myself)! Keep moving forward. Always move forward. Take care.

  5. Wow Jess I just heard about your whole ordeal, you'd think that being from such a small island I would have heard more. I think you have been extremely courageous through this and wish you nothing but luck in your future endeavours. I'm glad I found your blog so I can be kept up to date.

  6. Congrats on your scan! So glad to hear you can breath a little easier, couldn't have heard better news this week. Keep chasing those bees!
